Data Scientist

Description:

Our team in HP Labs Bristol drives initiatives to improve the scalability of IT management systems while delivering interactive actionable insights to better understand how systems fail or interact. The Machine is among these large IT systems that need to be managed at unprecedented scale.

We need savvy data scientists to improve the insights we will get from the wealth of data that The Machine will produce. You will be a key member of the team that is making management for The Machine friendlier for the human operator.

We are looking for someone with statistical modelling experience, technical engineering skills, commercial experience and a “hands-on” approach - not just theoretical. You will work with others to develop, refine and scale data management and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, best practices and other issues.
